It has been almost 7 years since the last International Symposium on Edible Alliaceae was held in Turkey.
The original proposal for the VIII International Symposium on Edible Alliums was to be held last year in Pula, Croatia. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus, we had to postpone it and we hoped that the situation would improve. The current situation has again brought us to the challenge of whether to postpone the symposium again or to organize it in a virtual format. We have received many of your inquiries regarding the symposium so we have decided to hold at least a virtual symposium.
