V International Humulus Symposium (IHS)

IV. International Symposium on Horticulture in Europe (SHE), the V. International Humulus Symposium (IHS), the VIII. International Symposium on Human Health Effects of Fruits and Vegetables (FAV Health) and the Annual Convention of the German Society for Horticultural Science will take place in Stuttgart from 8-12 March 2021.
The combined symposia theme ‘Advancing together: Enhancing quality of life through HortScience’ reflects the many exciting achievements in horticultural science for the benefit of societies of today and tomorrow that were realized through a strong academic-industry research partnership.

The 5-days event includes plenary presentations of world-leading scientists, panel discussions with renowned companies, industry stakeholders and legislators, short oral and poster presentations on fundamental and applied research, the exhibition of products and services, social events and technical tours.

The symposia will provide a unique platform for moving onward to advance progressive values and build a brighter future for generations. Our common goals are to beautify the planet through horticulture and to secure safe, healthy and sustainably produced food for everyone.

The conference is organised by the staff of the Institute of Crop Physiology of Specialty Crops at the University of Hohenheim and INTERPLAN Congress, Meeting & Event Management AG, in close collaboration with the ISHS.
