We are delighted to invite you to participate in the XIII International Rubus and Ribes Symposium to be held on July 19-21, 2023 in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Portland is a scenic and vibrant city in the USA’s Pacific Northwest and is famed for its eclectic downtown atmosphere and huge expanses of green space, from parks and forests to breathtaking mountaintops. Situated in the beautiful Willamette Valley, it allows easy access to the Pacific Coast to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east. It also lies in the heart of a thriving horticultural region that produces many types of fruit and vegetable crops, including an excellent array of conventional and organic berries for both fresh and processed markets.

During the conference, you will have an opportunity to present your research (oral or poster) and learn more about the latest information and new technologies surrounding the production of raspberries, blackberries, currants, and gooseberries. You can also join us for a stimulating pre-conference tour, where we will spend three days travelling from Washington to Oregon visiting local raspberry and blackberry farms.
