Unfortunately, and taking into account the dimensions expected for this event, the necessary conditions were not met for it to take place in the most dignified way. In this way, the Organizing Committee apologizes for the late notice, however it concludes that the best thing would be to postpone this event, in order to attract a greater number of subscribers and not to coincide with other events in the area. Any amount that needs to be reimbursed, the organization is responsible for these possible costs.
The International Association of Agricultural Students of the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (IAAS-UTAD) will hold on 4, 5 and 6 May 2023, the «I International Congress on Innovation in Fruit Crops ! It will be a reference event in the area of fruit growing, where to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge between the national and international scientific community, university students, entrepreneurs and producers in the area.
With this Congress, the intention is to promote and share knowledge, related to the area, between speakers and participants (students, professors, researchers and other professionals) internationally recognised. In this way, we hope to combine the knowledge of the most experienced with the desire to learn of the students and, at the same time, meet the needs of technicians and professionals in the area. The main objective is to present ideas, solutions and perspectives on topics related to Sustainable Production, Smart Agriculture, Biotechnology, Climate Change Mitigation, among others.
