The Eurocastanea meetings are organised each year since 2010 by AREFLH (Assembly of the European Regions producing Fruit, Vegetables and Ornamental plant), with the help of local chestnut organisations that vary depending on the country where the event is taking place.

Every year, the organisation of the congress request the collaboration of the EUROCASTA Commission, made of the national o regional producer organisations from Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal :
